           A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at Indiana Funeral Care; Harry W. Moore Chapel at 1 pm. Friends may visit with family from 11 am until service time.

Bernice “Jo” Veteto, 87 of Indianapolis, passed away on May 25, 2016 at Kindred Healthcare surrounded by her family.

Jo was born on November 16, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Carl and Elizabeth Dietz. She was a past PTA President for 50 years and was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by: sons, Phil (Shirley) and Jef; daughters, Linda (John) Hill, Sharon Witt- Perno and Leah (Phil) Weiker; and sister, Roberta (Kenneth) Sturgeon; and 6 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Louis; sisters, Charlotte Mahan and Maxine Abbott; and her brother Robert Dietz.

A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at Indiana Funeral Care; Harry W. Moore Chapel at 1 pm. Friends may visit with family from 11 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Franklin Road Church of Christ at 950 N. Franklin Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.

    I am so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. Our families were good friends for years. I have a lot of fond memories of times spent together. My Mother (Mary Bovenschen) and I send our deepest sympathies.
